How To Set Up Hourly Reminders On Iphone

Is there a way to set a repeat hourly reminder without using a third party app?

I was wondering if there's any way to create a reminder that repeats hourly? I didn't see an option for that in the reminders app and I'd rather not have to download a third party app, but perhaps that's the only way to do it. Unless there's a way to create something in Shortcuts? But I'm not very good at making those. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Tell Siri to remind you to do whatever every hour

Worked for me.

"Hey Siri, Remind me to Eat every four hours" for example

I am pretty sure the only way you can do it without a third party app is just set a separate alarm for every sixty minutes.

It's be a pain but you could setup recurring events in Calendar. The shortest repeat interval you can set is 1 day, but you could setup an event every hour and set those to repeat daily.

If you really need an hourly reminder, one alternative to creating 24 daily reminders an hour apart, is to set the countdown timer to 60 minutes and hit 'repeat' (instead of stop) when the alarm fires.

It's effectively the same thing, but it will naturally drift a few minutes past the hour throughout a day since it takes you a few seconds to react to the alarm.

You could just set a reminder, and every time it reminds you, Haptic Touch it and hit remind me in an hour.

The reminders app has an option to remind you every hour. Click the little i in the circle next to the reminder, turn on "remind me on a day" & then "remind me at a time" and now hourly will be an available option under the "Repeat" list

Ohhh now I see it! Someone else commented something similar and they showed a screenshot of the hourly option and I couldn't find it but that's because I hadn't selected "remind me at a time" first! Thanks so much!

Make a script on Shortcuts, not entirely how i'd do it but i know shortcuts is versatile enough for something like that..

Not a great idea. Shortcut automations involving time require a click to confirm before running.

Make a calendar entry and just put repeat notification hourly

Loop reminder on the app store. Anything from 1 seconds to days. Vibrations / beeps / notifications. Your choice.
